Parent Night skit practice quiz - it is attached in case you’ve misplaced the handout.  The quiz will be Thursday or Monday!

We are filming the Parnt Night skit this Thursday!

Create and bring in a prop for the skit.  Make sure you know your line!

tonight’s homework:

1) Practice your lines in the kit.

2) Research what a “griot” is.  Be prepared to discuss these questions: a) What do griot do?; b) What is the role of griot in society?; c) In which countries can griots found?; d) How have griots evolved in their role? – Compare traditional griots with modern ones such as Baaba Maal.

Study the expressions from the skit.

Be prepared to give your self introduction on Tuedsay.  Make sure you practice for at least 20 minutes on Thursday night!
